Abstract

This research aims to see an increase in understanding and knowledge Class IX students' interest in historical material in science subjects Social Knowledge through the application of the History Corner website media within learning. This website was designed with the hope of; First, make it easier history learning activities. So far, history learning has been considered boring and less creative. The presence of this website summarizes historical material more concise, effective and interesting. Second, the birth of historical individuals and love of the homeland so that it can foster a sense of nationalism. Third, the material on this website is directed to have contextual relevance with local Balinese wisdom values based on the Tri Hita ideology Karana. This research uses the Research & Development (R&D) method collaborated using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results of this research show that application of the history corner website in the learning of class IX students developed with insight into local Balinese wisdom Tri Hita Karana was able increase students' interest and understanding of the lesson history.
