Abstract

The livestock sector is very decisive in realizing a prosperous nation in various fields, especially in the economic field. The high economic potential of the livestock sector needs to be encouraged to provide broad benefits for the community, especially in sheep farming. The sheep population continues to increase each year. The ease of raising sheep can be used as an investment field for many people. The rapid adaptation of sheep to their new environment makes it easier for sheep to develop. A sheep investment development system based on macro monitoring of IoT (Internet Of Things) is a smart preventive concept in the livestock sector. Coupled with a digital application monitoring system, it can make it easier for farmers to monitor and convince investors to make transactions or invest. In addition, with regard to the sale of livestock, especially sheep, most of the village breeders still use the traditional system or the momentum of the Eid al-Adha holiday, so the sales cannot be ascertained. Outside of this momentum, the price of sheep is certain to be unstable so that sales are still determined. With an investment system, the sheep livestock market will be built stably, and sheep sales can be in good hands. This investment will provide benefits for investors, village breeders, and the surrounding community because it can develop the community's economic sector. The long-term output obtained is an increase in the number of sheep in Indonesia to meet the demand for meat in Indonesia. The sheep livestock market system will continue to grow due to price stability and an increase in the number of sheep, as well as a reduced number of sheep imports entering Indonesia, and it is even hoped that they can be exported abroad.
